.index/.scn files appear with imported video
I've got a few nitpicks with VideoSpin that are only a minor annoyance at best. First, whenever I import a clip multiple files with the .index/.scn extension appear in the same directory as the file I'm trying to import on all media files in the same directory. Is there a way to keep this from happening? I keep a lot of my 'current project' files on my Desktop for easy access so the sudden influx of icons is strange.
Second, and slightly off topic, is there a way to prevent VideoSpin from trying to "Detect Scenes" when importing a new clip? I looked through all the menus and didn't find anything about toggling it off. Thanks, -Mark

As you may have suspected the scn and index files are scene detection files. These contain information how a video is broken down for preview.
I will look for ways to prevent this but can you try to view the videos as files and not scenes?

Oh ha ha, I think I fixed the "problem" now (For my second complaint anyway). I'm still getting used to the interface lol. Also, after seriously trying out the editor for the first time today I can't think of anything to add to my first post. Another little annoyance I had though will take a second to explain isn't happening anymore lol.

Well, I'm still a little confused as to why those files keep popping up. Those files reappear even if I'm just looking at the files in the list. Is there any way to save them in some other directory than the one the imported file is located?
Off topic, but I tried out Studio a few days ago since I had to scale the speed of a few clips and everything worked out exactly as I wanted. It was a rare case so I'm still not sure if I'll really need Studio or not. The extra features are nice but I really don't think I'll need them in the long run; VideoSpin is perfect at the moment. All I'm really concerned about now is the codec issue.
Also, are you guys planning on adding anything new to VideoSpin or is 2.0 the last version? I really appreciate the free programs people put out there so continued support and features would be excellent.
